Find Your Inner Calm: A 30-Minute Yoga & Meditation Routine for Psoriasis Management
Hi there! I'm Dr. Haresh, your Ayurvedic wellness guide. As an Ayurveda practitioner who has treated more than 2000 psoriasis patients in my clinical practice for about 28 years, I understand the challenges of living with psoriasis. But what if I told you there are ways to manage your condition that go beyond medication?
Yoga and Meditation, with their focus on mindful movement and relaxation, can be powerful allies in your fight for inner and outer harmony and to create a strong immunity system. Here's a 30-minute routine designed specifically for Psoriasis patients from my experiences with psoriasis sufferers:
Warm-Up (5 Minutes):
-
Gentle Neck Rolls: Slowly roll your head in a circular motion, five times clockwise and five times counter-clockwise. This helps loosen the neck muscles and improve circulation.
-
Arm Circles: Make small circles with your arms, forward for 10 repetitions and backward for 10 repetitions. This warms up your shoulders and promotes relaxation.
Yoga Poses (20 Minutes):
-
Balasana (Child's Pose) - (3 minutes): Kneel on the floor, sitting back on your heels. Rest your forehead on the mat and extend your arms in front of you or alongside your body. Breathe deeply and hold for several breaths. This pose promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and gently stretches the back and hips.
